The precious tree species used are:
The Padouk: (Latin notation: Pterocarpus soyauxii) is an exotic wood coming from Gabon and Cameroon. It has a nice reddish color with darker grains. It has naturally a exceptional hardness that quarantees a very high quality. The padouk is also used in boat building.
The Wenge: (Latin notation: Milletia laurentii) this tree specie was used in the 19th century during the 'Art Deco' period. This very actual specie has a very dark brown color in its heart with some whitish grains for a nice aestetic.
The Movingui: (Latin notation: Distémonanthus benthamianus) is coming from Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Cameroon and Gabo. It is a beautiful yellow wood, rather hard, often watered. It is often called as the lemon tree from Africa but it has a different pore and grain structure.
The Amaranth: (Latin notation: Peltogyne venosa) is a wood which is coming from South America. It has a red-violet color which can be darker. It is a dense and durable wood that was used a lot in cabinet-making from the end of the 18th century.
