The rings, only for pierced ears, are in silver 925/1000 and with malachites. The malachite is a carbonate mineral with an intense green color, nearly always microcrystalline. Malachite often results from weathering of copper ores and is often found together with azurite, goethite, and calcite. The malachite is a semi-precious stone and was used as mineral pigment sincethe antiquity to have brighter colors and especially in icons.
