Ballpoint pen in Zebrano wood (Latin notation: Microberlina brazzavillensis) is a tree species coming from Africa (Gabon and Cameroon). It is also named as Zingana.
This wood has relatively thick granularity. The Zebrano has a light brown-yellow color with dark grains which are thin and numerous. Imported from the beginning of the twentieth century, it was used in the years 1930 and later by a famous automobile brand to decorate its dashboards. This wood is still used in interior design.
The ballpoint pen owns a black refill. The mechanism of the pen is standard and facilitate the finding of new refills in good bookshops and stationer's. The mechanism to see the point of the pen is swivelling.
