Thierry Jourdan is impassioned by nature for very many years. He doesn't hesitate to devote much time and energy to transmit his passion and to look further into his knowledge of nature.
Thierry Jourdan is forester of formation. After his studies, he devoted to the work of wood and more particularly to jigsawing. Jigsawing is the discipline which consists in cutting out wood in a very meticulous way to create forms and objects of all kinds. He has great competences in this discipline. He animated besides many training courses in Belgium and France during more than 20 years. He “turns” also many objects.
This Belgian craftsman is also stimulating classes of forest to the provincial field of Chevetogne (province of Namur, Belgium).
Thierry Jourdan constantly seeks quality and the discovery. He selects wood turpentines both for their beauty, their originality. The choice of wood is certainly his absolute priority at the time of the realization of artisanal products. It produces toys out of wooden, spinning tops, scultées hazel nuts, sculptures with the slicer as well as figurines out of wooden.
